Secondary mixed hardwood-juniper forest on moderate N, S, E and W-facing slopes above unnamed tributary to Baldwin Creek, with Carya cordiformis, Carya ovata, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Gleditsia triacanthos, Gymnocladus dioica, Juglans nigra, Juniperus virginiana, Maclura pomifera, Platanus occidentalis, Quercus macrocarpa, Quercus muhlenbergii, Quercus rubra and Ulmus rubra, and Cercis canadensis, Cornus drummondii, Ribes missouriense and Symphoricarpos orbiculatus in understory. Soil calcareous and rocky, with limestone outcrops of Pennsylvanian Oread Limestone and abundant chert residuum surfacing on middle and lower slopes.",
