Tall cliffs and massive boulders of pink granite along primarily NW-SE-trending ravine above Cache Creek with scrubby forest dominated by Carya texana, Juniperus virginiana, Quercus marilandica, Quercus stellata and Sideroxylon lanuginosum, with Acer saccharum becoming common in sheltered N-facing ravines, Celtis reticulata scattered on exposed slopes, and Cephalanthus occidentalis, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, and Ulmus common along creek. Soil gravelly.",
