Six fat Microdon larvae found in wood chambers with the ants. NOTEBY J. Longino, NOTEDATE 24-Dec-03: The Microdon larvae did not survive in the lab and were discarded. NOTEBY J. Longino, NOTEDATE 24-Dec-03: The \"inquiline beetle\" was a pselaphine staphylinid. Don Chandler identified it as Tyrus corticinus, a non-inquiline species relatively common under rotten bark of conifers.",
