Collection RemarksSheet I/II with flowers. Sheet II/II is DES00070948 and has stems.; Plant height 8.5 inches; multi-stemmed plant (7), stems green, rib count 15-16; spines golden with reddish-brown tips; flowers collected in the morning and in the afternoon in April, diameter 69-90 mm, length 61-67 mm (ovary 20 mm), outer perianth mostly faint purple/magenta with greenish-brown midstripe-some deep purple/magenta with greenish-purple midstripe, inner perianth brilliant purple-magenta with green at base; stigma lobe number 10-13, green; style white; filaments white or light green or pale yellow.
