"dwc:fieldNotes": "NOTEBY J. Longino: Cecropia trees were cut near the house today. 1500. The central, terminal 2m of this tree contained several chambers full of worker pupae, larvae. One chamber had clusters of very small larvae. Some chambers contained globular chambers and partitions made of a red, sticky wax. I saw no adult sexuals. There were many major workers among the adults. 1600. The central, terminal 1m of this tree contained many winged adults of both sexes, and much sexual brood. Adult workers were mainly minors, few majors.",
