"dwc:fieldNotes": "NOTEBY J.Longino: st. 11 treefall, where a column crossed a rotten log, I noticed a Solenopsis A [geminata] column moving rapidly inside of the log, visible through two holes to the surface. I disturbed the Solenopsis and they began to flow out of one of the holes and into contact with the Neivamyrmex column. The Neivamyrmex formed a barrier of stationary workers, cordoning off the Solenopsis workers. I saw no physical aggression. Soon the Solenopsis calmed and returned to their column inside the log, with little additional contact outside. 0904hrs.",
