Males and alate queens were flying to the highest points, on top of the highest rock and nearby stunted tree tops. Just 1-2m lower around the base of the rocks there were almost none. Copulating pairs of F. acerva were common. Females seemed to aggressively bite at males, and couples frequently disengaged. Clear sunny day, relatively warm in sun.",
