"dcterms:description": "english: atlantic jackknives on the beach of juist island. the upright ones try to bury themselves in the sand to avoid being eaten by the gulls. the lying shells are already empty. the water is pooled behind a dam of empty shells and is covered with a thin ice alyer of some millimeters. deutsch: amerikanische scheidenmuscheln am strand von juist. die senkrecht im sand stehenden muscheln sind noch lebendig und versuchen, sich wieder einzugraben, um nicht von möwen gefressen zu werden. die liegenden muschelschalen sind bereits leer. das wasser hat sich hinter einem damm aus leeren muschelschalen angestaut und ist mit einer millimeterdicken eisschicht überfroren.",
