In addition to this junco, Bryant also collected a Sialia (#201), Spizella (#203), and two Dendroica (#204-205) from this ridge top (p. 9). -- Smith was hunting with Russell and Bryant this day \"along top of ridge to W, which is about 7800 ft elevation...\" (p. 28 in Bryant's 1940 field notes). I would give this locality the same coordinated I suggested for the 7800 ft conour on this ridge for Bryant's specimens, or about 36.95107, -117.12421 (WGS84 datum, GoogleEarth). -- Russell was hunting with Bryant and Smith this day \"along top of ridge to W, which is about 7800 ft elevation...\" (p. 28 in Bryant's 1940 field notes). Although Russell indicates the elevetion is 8000 ft, I would give this locality the same coordinated I suggested for the 7800 ft conour on this ridge, or about 36.95107, -117.12421 (WGS84 datum, GoogleEarth). In addition to this junco, Bryant also collected a Sialia (#201), Spizella (#203), and two Dendroica (#204-205) from this ridge top (p. 9). -- Smith was hunting with Russell and Bryant this day \"along top of ridge to W, which is about 7800 ft elevation...\" (p. 28 in Bryant's 1940 field notes). I would give this locality the same coordinated I suggested for the 7800 ft conour on this ridge for Bryant's specimens, or about 36.95107, -117.12421 (WGS84 datum, GoogleEarth). -- Russell was hunting with Bryant and Smith this day \"along top of ridge to W, which is about 7800 ft elevation...\" (p. 28 in Bryant's 1940 field notes). Although Russell indicates the elevetion is 8000 ft, I would give this locality the same coordinated I suggested for the 7800 ft conour on this ridge, or about 36.95107, -117.12421 (WGS84 datum, GoogleEarth).
