Longino, NOTEDATE 21-Jun-05: Mesic broadleaf forest; 90-yr old forest ("Grape Vine Point"); sifted leaf litter from forest floor. 3 mesh sacks filled and hung in cabin room closet. Sample collected in afternoon. Left hanging for one full day (24hrs). Ants removed from sample in non-quantitative way, leaving many individuals of common species in discarded residue.
