Seine used 14 times. Swift and high flow, difficult to sample especially along the left bank; swift chutes and riffles; one quieter run at the end of the reach; boulder snags of rip/rap along the left bank for road stabilization; no quiet pools; narrow riparian zones. One Chrosomus X Clinostomus hybrid collected (95 mm TL). One Eastern Hellbender netted, measured, and released (480 mm TL). Young-of-Year = Brown Trout. One stocked Brook Trout collected (260 mm TL). Tributary to North Fork New River, site is ca. 0.8 mile above creek's confluence with the river. Stream re-classified to ORW on 12/01/2010. Stream width: 12 m; Turbidity: Slightly turbid; Temperature: 16 °C; Specific Conductance: 41 µS/cm; pH: 6.8 su; Dissolved Oxygen: 8.9 mg/L.",
