HabitatWhere a steep S curve leads down to open granite area from the last small tree grown meadow on right side the road. Rocky slope up and north from this meadow. Pinus murrayana, P. monticola, Abies magnifica, Holodiscus discolor, Phlox douglasii, Lomatium torreyi, Penstemon newberryi, Lupinus, Erysimum, etc. On shallow gravelly benches among rocks.
